My apartment complex just sent me a bill saying that I owe them for damages that didnt exist.?

First of all I moved out on Oct 31 and the move out statement was dated Nov 30. I called twice during nov and both times I was told that the information had already been sent out in which I didn't receive until Dec 20 in which had a letter from a credit collector. They say that the walls where black???? in which I had maintenance spot paint for me so it was perfect, and they said that they had to replace all of the vinyl blinds, "why did they have to replace the blinds?" well they said that they where dirty. Long story short people have petition to get the media involved with this luxury apartment complex. Regardless Im ready to take these guys to court. Any suggestions.... time is of essence

You should always demand a walk through on move out. Take pictures, so that you have some proof should anything come up.

I would ask for their documentation. Other than that you are probably going to have to go to court.
