some type of ipod adapter? 10points!?
Okay so there's this thing that you can plug into your car/boat/other vehicle and I know that the actual thing that you plug into the wall is round. It's meant to play the music from your ipod aloud as if it was coming from the radio. Does anyone know the proper name for this device?

They make radios that have auxiliary inputs that will allow you to send signal to the radio through a 1/8th inch stereo cable from the headphone jack on the ipod.
They also make FM transmitters that plug into the ipod and broadcast on an empty station. Many of these plug into the cigarette lighter for power but there are some that run off of the ipod and others are battery powered.
