wall sticker mural
Easily removable wall paper?
Hi, I'm new to home remodeling.. I'm wanting to wallpaper a room in a rental house for my daughter. I saw advertisements for "peel and stick" stickers and murals for her room that supposedly are easily removable and do not damage the walls or leave a residue.. is there such a thing for wall paper in general (and not just stickers)?
What will be her room is now a dark paneling, and I'm trying to find ways to "girlie" it up without being a permanent change (in case the owner doesn't like it haha)
Ohhhh... I've been reading up on using fabric and starch to "wallpaper" ... sounds very interesting... if you have ideas on this also let me know! 
Well kid, no matter what you do there will be "something" left behind on the wall. To the best of my knowledge there is no wallpaper you can use that won't leave behind a mess to clean up. And for the fabric...not a bad idea, but it will leave tons of staple holes behind. You can however paint paneling. I'd suggest painting the walls white, then use those wall stickies you mentioned to "girlie" it up. Talk to your landlord and ask him if he will be cool with the idea. Just make sure you put a couple solid coats of primer on first and you'll be good to go. I had the same issue in my house when I bought it and it turned out great.
