The walls are green like in the picture. I'm just have a hard time deciding what colors to use for her name and the quote. I don't know if using white would be too light since the walls are a lighter color. Or do you think that would be okay? Any other color combos that would go with the theme would be appreciated!
White would be fine, especially if you use an ultra-white. We had a similar situation with our nursery, we painted squares on the wall with white lines between, and then the squares were light green, light brown, and a cream color. The cream color by itself probably wouldn't stand out but there was plenty of contrast between that and the white with that super-light ultra white (it's amazing the difference between the two whites). I'll see if I can add it to my photobucket to show you what I mean...
Edit - Here we go (it's an early pic, but you can see the white worked really well, even against the light colors) http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g118/adriannehamberg/Room.jpg The green in your photo looks a little darker than the shade we ended up going with, too, so I think you'll be just fine.
I'd go with white, or use both white and pink. And cute choice, by the way.
