Can I put cupcake liners on cupcakes AFTER they're baked?
Would it not fit the cupcake right? I'm making cupcakes for a baby shower and I have really cute polka dot blue and white cupcake liners. Only problem is, when I bake using white cupcake liners or light colored ones, the white becomes see through and the blue gets really really light. Would it work if I just greased the cupcake pan really well, then slipped them into the liners after, making taking a dollop of icing on the bottom to make them stick? Thanks.
You could, but they probably wouldn't stay on the cupcakes very well. Good Luck.
PLEASE NOTE: The actual polka dots you should receive are a thick vinyl that does not have any type of "transfer tape" on it that would require you to use an applicator. You should be able to simply peel them off the backing and stick them on your walls...
