I paint wall murals-NW Louisiana area. How do I get the word out to new communities in Shreveport Bossier?
I paint kids room murals and hand painted bulletin boards. I would love to get the word out about my work to some of the newer communities that are popping up around the Shreveport Bossier area. (like The Colony...etc) I have 3 young kids at home so I don't have a lot of money to advertise. I've painted in similar communities as far away as McKinney, Texas. Word of mouth is usually the best advertisement for me. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Check out my photo gallery at

Another place you might look into seeing if you can post fliers is in stores that cater to new parents like baby stores. Also see if you can put up a flier at home improvement stores. I don't know if there's many communities that still do it but you may have a welcome wagon service in the area that you can see if they will throw in a buisness card or something. You may also see about making up fliers that you can put in mail boxes or slip on door knobs throughout the neighborhoods.
You're absolutly right about word of mouth being the best form of advertising. Just need the mouths to put out the word. Best of luck.
