Be aware when purchasing this item that acrylic mirror is subject to scratching. They say that it easily wipes clean, but you need to be careful with acrylic and use a very soft cloth. Even at that you may experience some minor scratching to the surface.
I bought a package of the mirrored birds on sale at Kohl’s, and they were already slightly scratched when I removed them from the packaging. That’s the nature of acrylic.
That said, they’re fun, they’re easy, they’re relatively inexpensive (if purchased on sale). So if you can overlook that issue – go for it.
It states that the pieces can be easily lifted off/repositioned without damage to the surface they’re applied to. We’ll see.
My past experience with products like this has always been torn walls. Maybe this one will be different, but let’s face it, where there’s adhesive there’s usually a problem.
I’ll have to come back and add to this review when the time comes.
*As a precautionary – I’d suggest making templates to figure out how you want the pieces laid out before adhering them (either that, or don’t press down well until you’ve got them laid out as you want).
