How to get rid of red stuff in between bathroom wall tile?

Hi, thanks in advance for answering!

I just moved into a rental home. It is an older house and has many renovations but the bathroom was left untouched. The walls are covered from floor to ceiling in tiles and there is a reddish looking grime in between them where it should be white.

What is this stuff?
How can I get rid of it?
If I can't how can i cover it up?

That's red mold, or the leftover staining from red mold. Try one part bleach in 3 parts water. Don't get it on your clothes! Apply generously and scrub hard. A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser may help in stubborn areas after the bleach step has dried.
